Level 2: Intermediate

The Wine & Spirit Trust (WSET) was established in the UK in 1969, offering internationally recognised courses primarily for the trade but also for enthusiasts.

Sommeliers Australia has joined forces with The Prince Wine Store to offer WSET courses to Victorian members and non-members.

The Intermediate program is intended for those with little previous experience in the field of wine and spirits. Students will also be introduced to the main styles of wines produced by key grape varieties and a specific number of regions.

The course is designed for both those who are employed in the drinks industry and those that are are keen to gain industry employment. It is important that potential students appreciate that this is primarily a professional development course for the drinks industry and is approached in that way by our tutors.
