As part of the 2010 Melbourne Food and Wine Festival wine writer and publisher of the Red, White and Green web site, Max Allen, will be hosting a slow Saturday lunchtime introduction to the pleasures of biodynamic wines.
Part workshop, part indulgent tasting, part symposium, part party, this is a chance to immerse yourself in all things BD.
We'll kick off over coffee and a glass of biodynamic Champagne. We'll talk about the philosophy and principles of biodynamics, and you'll get a hands-on introduction to the preparations and techniques involved.
Then we'll move up to the dining room where we'll indulge in a convivial tasting of some of the finest local and international biodynamic wines, plus experimental BD wines from around Australia that you won't taste anywhere else.
As we're sniffing and sipping, we'll enjoy Brigitte's great food, sourced from her favourite biodynamic and organic Victorian farms.
