Our most loved and longest running event in Victoria is back for 2012. The Annual Sommeliers Australia Ball this year is a Masquerade Ball!
"Find a marvelous mask and wear it well,
so your true identity no one can tell"
We will also be presenting some Victorian Wine Awards that will be voted on by Sommeliers Australia Members. These celebrate the contribution to the Victorian industry by importers, distributors, sales representatives and producers.
This is the most anticipated event all year and this year we are going B I G !
The night includes 5 courses, 4 award presentations, a live band and (as you would expect) an abundance of wonderful wine!
We have looked to the future when organising the food this year and have enlisted the help of some of Victoria's most talented Sous Chefs from some great restaurants to each prepare a dish for the evening.
1st Course - Zac Sykes (Trocadero)
2nd Course - Louis Naepels (Grossi Florentino)
3rd Course - Casey McDonald (Cutler and Co.)
4th Course - Victorian cheese (by Calendar Cheese Co.)
5th Course - George Scott-Toft (Pei Modern)
It is always a fun evening and a topic of discussion through-out the industry during the rest of the year. We hope you can join us.
