The successful applicant will need a minimum of four years in a similar role with a broad knowledge of both Australian and international wines; be able to maintain, manage and grow Jonah's highly awarded 'two goblet' wine list of over three hundred wines. May also have an advisory role in conjunction with another property.

We are looking for a hospitality professional who is able to educate and train our floor team; is able to work within a budget and achieve key result ratios; has a solid knowledge of computers; and a 'can do' attitude when dealing with staff and guests alike.

Reporting to TSA's Head Office in Melbourne you will play an important role in servicing current customers but with a particular emphasis on developing new business in NSW.

Brand Development Manager - Victoria - Role now filled but will be recruiting for Queensland early 2010


Vranken-Pommery Australia (VPA) is the newly established subsidiary of the world's second largest champagne house. VPA has an outstanding portfolio of champagne brands including Pommery, Heidsieck and Co Monopole, Charles Lafitte and Demoiselle. VPA also has a small and interesting portfolio of table wine.

The role:

The Brand Development Manager will drive growth, directly and indirectly, for VPA's portfolio through identifying, targeting and landing sustainable new distribution within on-premise accounts in Victoria, and driving increased rate of sale in existing on-premise accounts in ways that also build brand equity and awareness.

The Brand Development Manager will also be involved in other diverse activities which could include education, trade and consumer fairs and supporting the execution of key marketing and PR based initiatives.

The role will initially be offered as part-time (3 days per week) with a view that it will evolve to full time within a twelve to twenty four month time frame.

Experience required:

• Energy and drive, and the ability to create brilliant relationships and possibilities.
• A strong passion for and knowledge of wine
• An understanding of the operations of premium on-premise businesses such as bars and restaurants
• A strong existing network within the Victorian premium on-premise market will be highly regarded
• Experience of selling premium or luxury consumer brands, although not essential, will be valued

This could be the perfect opportunity for the right candidate to utilise the knowledge and experience they have gained in an on premise environment to make the transition into a sales and marketing based role.

The remuneration package offered for the role will include base salary, car allowance and superannuation.
